Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • Ingredients listed on the brownie mix box e.g., 2 eggs, 2 tbsp water, ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 24 small strawberries
  • Whipped cream store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 24-cavity mini cupcake tin.
  • Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions using the eggs, oil, and water.
  • Fill each cavity of the mini cupcake tin about ¾ full with brownie batter.
  • Bake for 13–16 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool the brownie bites completely in the pan. Use a butter knife or fork to gently lift them out if needed.
  • Trim the strawberries. Cut off the stems and a small portion of the tip so each strawberry sits flat.
  • Assemble the Santa hats. Add a swirl of whipped cream to the top of each brownie bite, place a strawberry on top (pointed side up), then finish with a small dollop of whipped cream on the tip to create the hat.
  • Serve immediately. These are best enjoyed fresh before the whipped cream starts to soften.

Notes

  • Use small strawberries to keep the correct proportions for each brownie bite.
  • If using homemade whipped cream, make sure it’s whipped to stiff peaks for better stability.
  • For a fun touch, dust your serving plate with powdered sugar to mimic snow!
