Steak Nuggets

Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, these steak nuggets are the ultimate appetizer or easy dinner idea. Made with tender steak, parmesan, and pork panko, they’re perfect for frying or air frying and are naturally low carb and keto-friendly.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup pork panko crushed pork rinds
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Cut steak into evenly sized bite-sized chunks.
  • Beat egg in one bowl. In another bowl, combine pork panko, parmesan, and salt.
  • Dip steak pieces into egg, then coat thoroughly in breading mixture.
  • Place on lined baking sheet and freeze 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil to 325°F (165°C). Fry in batches 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

  • Best Cuts of Steak: Sirloin, ribeye, or any tender cut works best.
  • Pork Panko Substitute: You can use finely crushed pork rinds or breadcrumbs, though the texture will be slightly different.
  • Air Fryer: Cook at 400°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Internal temperature: 130–145°F depending on desired doneness.
  • Make Ahead: Bread the nuggets and freeze them in advance—just fry when ready to serve.
