Strawberry Shortcake Fudge

If you love strawberry shortcake, you'll adore this fudge! It’s the perfect balance of creamy, fruity, and cake-y goodness. Plus, it’s incredibly simple to prepare—no baking required!

Equipment

  • Parchment Paper
  • 8x8 Baking Dish or Larger (depending on how thick you want it)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Strawberry and Cream Candy Melts
  • 1 container Strawberry Frosting
  • ½ a loaf Pound Cake
  • 1 cup Dried Strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Start by placing your melting candies in a microwave safe dish and microwave for one minute and stir vigorously. Repeat this process until melted and smooth.
  • Place your icing in the microwave for one minute. Be sure to remove foil.
  • Pour melted icing into melted chocolate and stir until well combined.
  • Line your baking dish with parchment paper and pour half of your fudge batter into the dish.
  • Top with half of your dried strawberries. Crumble your cake and add half of it on top as well.
  • Pour remaining fudge batter on top and smooth out evenly. Lightly bang your dish off the counter to knock out any air bubbles.
  • You can add the remaining cake and strawberries on top if you desire, but not necessary.
  • Seal up your baking dish with plastic wrap or a lid and place in the fridge for about 4 hours, until fudge is set.
  • Cut into even squares and enjoy! The perfect fudge for sweet summertime.
