Ingredients

  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp lime Jello mix
  • 1 tbsp cherry Jello mix
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Make the base mixture: In a large bowl, add the cream cheese and powdered sugar. Use a hand mixer to combine until smooth. If the mixture is too sticky to handle, gradually add more powdered sugar until it resembles a soft play-dough texture. Slight stickiness is okay.
  • Divide and flavor: Split the mixture evenly into two bowls. Mix the cherry Jello powder into one bowl and the lime Jello powder into the other. Stir until fully combined and no white streaks remain. Be sure to clean the beaters between colors.
  • Shape the candies: Line a tray with parchment paper. Take about ½-inch of dough, roll it into a ball, and gently flatten with your thumb. Dip both sides of the candy in granulated sugar and place on the prepared tray. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the tray of candies until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Notes

  • The cream cheese must be room temperature—cold cream cheese won’t mix properly.
  • Add more powdered sugar as needed to get a play-dough-like consistency.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3–4 days.
  • You can make the candies slightly larger, but you’ll get fewer in total.
