Ingredients
  

Crust and Topping

  • 2 cans pillsbury crescent rolls
  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg

Filling

  • 2 8- ounce packages of cream cheese
  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking dish with baking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and blend with a hand mixer until smooth.
  • Add the sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture. Blend again until smooth and creamy.
  • Lastly add in the egg and mix until completely combined.
  • In the prepared baking dish, spread half of the cinnamon sugar mixture into the bottom of the dish, evenly coating the bottom.
  • Then place the first sheet of crescent roll on top of the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Pour in the cheesecake filling and spread evenly across the layer of crescent dough.
  • Top this filling with the second sheet of crescent roll dough. Then top with the rest of the cinnamon and sugar, spreading evenly across the top.
  • Place this in the oven to bake for 30 minutes, until the crescent dough is cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 20 minutes. Cut and serve while warm!
