Ingredients
  

  • 1 large English cucumber sliced and halved
  • ¼ red onion thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prep the ingredients – Slice the cucumber and red onion. Chop the fresh dill.
  • Make the dressing – In a medium bowl, stir together sour cream, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Combine – Gently fold in the cucumber and red onion until everything is evenly coated.
  • Chill – Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Stir again just before serving.

Notes

  • Use full-fat sour cream for the creamiest texture.
  • For best flavor, use fresh dill.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
