Texas Trash Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 16 oz can refried beans
  • 4 oz can diced green chilies
  • 1 oz packet taco seasoning
  • 3 cups Mexican or Fiesta cheese blend shredded and divided
  • cup green onions diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes quartered

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Chop the tomatoes, and dice the onions.
  • Add the cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, green chilies, taco seasoning, and 1 cup shredded cheese, and mix together until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture into a 10 or 12 inch cast iron skillet.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the mixture
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven, and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the skillet from the oven and top with the tomatoes and onions.
  • Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or whatever you prefer for dipping.
