- 2/3 cup bacon pieces reserve half

Instructions
- Dice the jalapeno into fine pieces. You can remove the seeds, or leave them, depending on the spice level you want.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and garlic powder. You can use an electric mixer if it’s easier for you.
- Next, add the cheese, bacon pieces, and diced jalapeno. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into a ball, (I find this easiest to do with gloves on.) and set it on a sheet of parchment paper.
- Chill for 15 minutes.
- Combine the remaining cheese, bacon, and jalapenos in a small bowl. Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator, and use a gloved hand to press the mixture into the top of the cheese ball, and all around the sides.
- Refrigerate for one hour, or until ready to serve.
- Serve with crackers, pretzels or whatever you like to dip.
